Board Approves Swindel for Surrey Schools

Heather Stillwell gained national attention this past May by proposing that The Great Global Warming Swindle be made available in Surrey high schools alongside An Inconvenient Truth in order to ensure students are offered a "balanced perspective" on the issue of global warming - despite the fact that The Swindle has bee broadly publicized as being deceptive and misleading. 

Her proposal went before the Surrey School Board of Trustees in May who unanimously passed the motion. According to Stilwell, the board is hopeful of getting permission to distribute the film for September.
