April 6, 2007 Texas - Twenty gallons of gasoline had leaked into the bilge of a Carver 36 foot cabin cruiser on March 25th at the South Shore Harbour Marina in League City. A mechanic was in the process of pumping out the fuel and cleaning up the bilge when it exploded. Ignition source is unknown, although the guys were being careful and seemed to know how dangerous the situation was.
