BOMB PLOT American Airlines

American Airlines was one of three American carriers targeted on August 10th 2006 by suspected Al Queda members in the UK. Liquid explosives were to be used to bring the aircraft down whilst on route from Britain to American destinations.American Airlines Boeing 767 seen here landing at Glasgow International Airport.
