The nine devices that shut down Boston, MA this morning and after noon turn out to be nothing more than an ad campaign by The Cartoon Network... Please tell me heads will roll, people fired and Turner Broadcasting will be sent the bill for all the police manpower that was wasted today.

At NowPublic, this is high praise from NowPublic editors! Your story is now on the home page for awhile, and everywhere else the “good stuff” box shows up. Many thanks for your great work.

Thanks for posting my pic. It is my opinion that this was a gross overreaction, and nothing should come of it.

Thanks for posting my photo, too.

I agree that this whole thing was overblown, though they maybe should have posted some kind of contact info on the pieces.

Totally overblown, ridiculous reaction.  If any heads roll, it should be the officials that let this escalate.

I guess I am mixed about it because I come from Mass and have relatives in Boston area.

It would have been smart for the marketers to have told police in each city their intentions.

But yes, to a certain extent, it was overblown in Boston. It just goes to show how terrorified folks are. It is part of the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld master plan to rule the oil fields of the Middle East.

A shame the original post did not explain the story, rather than  an obtuse snippet.
