Brazilian Electronic Music Festival Opens Tomorrow

Hipersonica Rio 2007 is opening tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro. This would be so amazing to attend but I have elected instead to remain here in Vancouver just to make sure I get the full mental, psychological effect of twenty straight months of rain.

Highlighting the experimental approach in electronic music, the free festival Hipersônica promotes an interactive experience in March 2007, Rio de Janeiro. On March 23rd, the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will host a new music festival presenting major names in experimental electronic music.
Hipersônica, with four editions released in São Paulo since 2003, is part of FILE, the Electronic Language International Festival, the main Art&Technology festival in Brazil. Video-art, performances, interactivity and loads of music will be sheltered by the impressive building of the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, a late 40’s architecture landmark.
