Britain has again been hit by freak storms - flooding homes and sparking travel chaos across the country.

Several train companies are warning passengers not to travel, and Tube services have been badly affected.

Southern and south-west England took the brunt of the bad weather, which will sweep north to reach Scotland and Northern Ireland over the weekend.

Up to double a month's rain has fallen in some areas in just a few hours, with Berkshire and south London badly hit.

Homes all over the country have experienced flooding
