Using mass transit, so he's eco-friendly! The white cat, who bus drivers have nicknamed "Macavity," takes the bus several times a week, traveling 400meters down the road to a shopping district. Experts believe he's going to the fish and chip shop.
Since January, when the cat first caught the bus he has done it two or three times a week and always gets on and off at the same stops.
Passenger, Paul Brennan, 19, who catches the 331 to work, said: "I first noticed the cat a few weeks ago. At first I thought it had been accompanied by its owner but after the first stop it became quite clear he was on his own.
"He sat at the front of the bus, waited patiently for the next stop and then got off. It was was quite strange at first but now it just seems normal. I suppose he is the perfect passenger really - he sits quietly, minds his own business and then gets off."

:))) What a smart cat! I'd really like to have on. I wouldn't have to go and buy her food. She would go for herself and eat something from the market. What could you want more?

I think it's an adorable story and it's just like a person, minding his own business, getting to where he needs to go....just because he happens to be a cat doesn't become an issue.
Only thing which would worry me is that God forbid he should come into contact with an animal hater or get run over on the street would be my biggest concerns if I was the cats owner. How does the owner ensure safety for his cat?
But the fact that he has his daily routine really makes him a remarkably unique cat. I just hope the public will be good and considerate towards him always.

Of course, it would be a British cat:-)
Wonder if Babel-Fish is going to start singing the National Anthem.

What does he do when there's a bus strike? Maybe he has to stay home and put up with that a rubbish tasting can of Kitekat.
