Terrorists turned planes into missiles and leveled the World Trade Center in 2001. Paul Myoda, a RISD graduate and now a Brown University faculty member, saw the surreal aftermath that night from Brooklyn.

The Twin Towers were gone; so were 3,000 people. Myoda, an artist, once worked in a studio near the top of the north tower. All he could see were huge plumes of dust and smoke, eerily illuminated by floodlights.

Is anyone planning on taking photographs tonight?  Last year we had some amazing sets from the light tribute.  NYC is of course one of the most amazing places to photograph, but it looked unreal with the beams coming from beneath the city.

If you are in the city please take some photos for the article or another you post...
