Your Mail... One blogger had a idea on how to respond to Mr. Bush.
Experts said the new powers could be easily abused and used to vacuum up large amounts of mail.

"The [Bush] signing statement claims authority to open domestic mail without a warrant, and that would be new and quite alarming," said Kate Martin, director of the Center for National Security Studies in Washington.

"The danger is they're reading Americans' mail," she said.

"You have to be concerned," agreed a career senior U.S. official who reviewed the legal underpinnings of Bush's claim. "It takes Executive Branch authority beyond anything we've ever known."

A top Senate Intelligence Committee aide promised, "It's something we're going to look into."

I'm a postal employee and am PISSED about this development. It's bad enough that we have a stigma of being gun-toting psychos; now, people (who don't understand where this is coming from) will associate any form of censorship/spying with US, not the jerkoffs that dreamt it up. Gah, as if anthrax wasn't enough to screw up my work environment.

United States Customer from
AR, United States sent us this message on 26/01/2007: have you shipped this cd yet?

Liamssoft Answer to Customer 26/01/2007: Yes we shipped on 16th
January and you should have received it by now. I have sent you a replacement
today with a note attached for the delivery company concerning none delivery of
the first item. We have had one out of every two United States items none
arriving, due to this we have to charge much more for US post. There is a
security problem somewhere. We are looking into that. Thank you for your
patience. Liam

If the United States Authorities are taking our items which have been paid
for by the customer, then I consider that to be theft. As of this date we will
not be sending mail to the United States. We are sorry for this
inconvenience.
