Buzz Aldrin testing the consistancy of the dust on the lunar surface - July 20, 1969. by BooWow

As one of his tasks during the historic first lunar landing - Astronaut Buzz Aldrin tests the consistancy of the lunar dust by steping onto an undisturbed section of the lunar surface. He photographed the test - shoting the area before stepping upon it, here right after making the boot print - and then just the bootprint by itself. I really like this photograph as it illustrates human interaction with another world.
