Caitlin, like Ryan Clark, was an RA at Virginia Tech.

There is a Facebook memorial for Caitlin, created by her neighbour. He says:

Those of you have shared pictures, I greatly appreciate it. This means
a lot to me as well as everyone who knew Caitlin. She was a great
person who had high aspirations, and this tradegy cut short a promising
life full of success. I am truly saddened and disturbed at what has
taken place this past week, and hope to God that nothing like this ever
happens again.
