Caloundra Bush Fire

It started around mid morning 16th November 2006 near the Pelican Waters Golf Club. There were very high winds which made the control very difficult especially as a lot of the terrain was inaccessible. Two schools, a retirement home and a small housing area in Pelican Waters (Sunshine Coast, Queensland) had to be evacuated.
