ART:

Camille Utterback & Mordicai Gerstein

Camille Utterback’s Untitled 5 responds to movement within the
exhibition space, creating projected interactions and a collision of
visual delights. A pioneering artist and programmer in the interactive
installation field, Utterback has exhibited internationally and been
honored with awards including the 2005 Transmediale International Media
Art Festival Award.

Mordicai Gerstein delights viewers with alphabet shapes adorned with
charmingly grotesque monsters, flexible fish, and even an animal
donning a striped suit and polka dot tie in The Absolutely Awful
Alphabet, winner of the 2004 Caldecott Award for Illustration.
Gerstein’s acclaimed books include Arnold of the Ducks, The Mountains
of Tibet, and Wild Boy.
