About Can Tran

I have been involved with the online citizen journalism scene for over and year and ongoing. I had started on Helium, then worked my way towards Ground Report and Associated Content. I sometimes submit stuff to OhMyNews. And then, I had found myself on Digital Journal around October of 2007. Now, I'm here on NowPublic. On those sites I usually go by either TFactor or Can Tran. Can's my Vietnamese name.

When I experimented around with sites, I found something I had enjoyed doing. At the same time, get paid for it.

Anyway, enough about that. I'm currently 26 years old and lived somewhat of an interesting life. I worked as a substitute teacher for about two years. That was a very interesting and highly stressful time in my life.

Plus, I had also worked with the John Kerry Campaign back in 2004. I would have to say that they were very interesting experiences.

On a side note, I am an adamant practitioner and enthusiast of the martial arts. My favorite styles to train in are Muay Thai, Lethwei, and Tae Kwon Do. But, I have trained in Wado-Ryu Karate, Tai Chi Chuan, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Judo, Aikido, Nin-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, Capoeira, Japanese Shootfighting, and Vale Tudo.
