It was a carefully crafted plan with a certain number of steps which he knew could fail but Aaron Stanton, 25 from Idaho,a games reviewer had an idea that he knew was just perfect for the internet giant Google. But how to get it to them was the mystery. The most obvious was to simply walk into the Google head office at Mountain View near San Francisco in California and approach the front desk and ask to see someone-anyone. He did and it didn't work. Next he put together a website http://www.cangooglehearme.com/index.php in the hope someone at Google would eventually spot it. Aaron plauged other blogs where people chatted about the interent and began to add videos to his own blog. Eventually he began to get traffic and feedback and interest and there was talk amongst the blogger community. And then one day it happened-a message arrived from Dave at Google : ""We can hear you :)". Aaron's world was about to take a dramatic turn. He was summoned to the Googleplex to give a presentation of the idea he claimed could make him a million dollars and benefit Google's site. A non-disclosure contract was signed and he became an instant hero of the internet nerd blog world. An Aussie rock band named Midnight penned a song Can You Hear Me in his honour, fan mail is now flooding into his website and he is recognised on the street. No-one outside a few in Google knows what Aaron's idea actually is and Aaron doesn't know yet if Google will go ahead, but he's shown that persistence and a bit of creativity pays off.
