Cannes, Cannes, Cannes

There is so much buzz already from this year's Cannes Film Festival according to Variety...and we're not just talking about Jerry Seinfeld's Bee Movie stunt...[he floated around in a giant bee costume.] But I think more than the movies, it's the celebrities that create so much of the hype and gain the attention [which really sucks.] Pamela Anderson is making noise for being booed on the red carpet, Jessica Simpson is out on the town with John Meyer and all around it's just generally a mad situation.

Photographers at the Cannes Film Festival booed Pamela Anderson after she showed up late for a photo session Friday and only stuck around to pose for a few minutes.
Every year, a Cannes Festival jury chooses a director's debut feature for its Golden Camera award. The winner of the prize will be announced on Sunday, May 27th.
Instead, people walked to the end of the dock, opened the makeshift door on the "Bee Movie" facade and found a clutter of vaguely mechanical gear, a guard dog with a head like an anvil and no hope of a boat.
Perhaps she was wanted to look like a more serious actress than say, Pamela Anderson, who arrived at the fest today to support an actual film, "Blonde and Blonder" and drove the paparrazzi nuts posing in a hot pink, low-cut mini-dress.
