When English Is the Rule at Work
About carloscfranco
I never really know what to write in these boxes. They always give you the option to write a little about yourself, or your work, or your inspiration, but I can't ever think of what to say. I'm actually pretty new to photography, I have only been taking pictures for about 4 years and I am self taught. Most of the pictures I take are of things that I want to remember or places that I have visited or that I see everyday (like on the way to work.) I've been working professionally for about 1 year doing mostly weddings and portraits. Some of my favorite publications are: The Economist, Harpers, The New Yorker, NY Times, Seattle PI, The Stranger, Seattle Weekly, San Diego Union Tribune, The Onion, More Than Donuts, and fortune cookies.
I love the concept of citizen journalism because it is based on "The Marketplace of Ideas;" it empowers the individual to be a force in shaping the body of human knowledge by breaking-up the monopoly on information that has been traditionally the exclusive domain of big media (and thereby big money.) I hope you enjoy my work.
