Just another way for upper castes, jains and the rich to keep muslims,
lower caste hindus, Maharashtrians from Konkan and christians out. If
the same thing had happened in a UP village, the press and the world
would have smething about it.

Dbtorp: Absolutely true. The nature of Bombay has completely changed - it's become less tolerant I think.
