Charlie Chaplin in chains

Vintage movie legend Charlie Chaplin who supposedly sympathised with the poor and  enslaved  is now himself shackled and in chains.

A full sized model of Charlie Chaplin which was displayed outside a Skegness UK holiday souvenir shop has placed in chains after some of his fans decided to `adopt' it.

It was stolen several times before it was finally placed in chains but each time it was recovered, usually because of an anonymous tip off. The last time it was stolen it was found in the hallway of an apartment block.
