Maryland - The Prince Georges County Fire/Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department was alerted this afternoon to an incident that would result in nine patients being transported to area hospitals after being exposed to vapors from a chemical reaction. At about 3:30 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2006, firefighters, paramedics and hazardous materials personnel responded to the Rollingcrest Community Center, 6122 Sargent Road in Chillum, after employees observed an “orange vapor” coming from the indoor pool pumping room.
