What is the neo-conservative base saying about this? Isn't this what the Bush administration said was against "family values??" Not only does the republican party lie about the facts surrounding the illegal invasion of two sovereign countries, but they lie about their sincerity concerning Christian morality as well. How hypocritical can the republicans be if they are going to welcome this child with open arms as if they really respect his parents and their relationship.

Gay people around the country, if not the entire world, face intense marginalisation and this political party created a platform against exactly the type of relationship this child represents.

He was created artificially due to the biological fact that two persons of the same gender cannot by natural means procreate. The base relationship in the first place violates everything the Christian Church has been teaching against for several centuries. The Bush administration railed against equal civil rights for homosexuals yet, they are touting this baby as the next wave of republican shills keen to rob America and the rest of the world anew.

This entire situation and the way it is being handled by the holier-than-thou republican party in power is shamful on the basis of their own stated morals. I defy any neo-conservative to argue that this test-tube baby Mrs. Elmer Fudd is cuddling falls in line with the Bible-thumping, anti-evolution, anti-science eugenic Dominionist battle-plan the Bush administration and their neo-conservative political prostitute attack dogs on FOX, MSNBC and AM talk radio vomit daily towards a ethically stupified American television audience.

This is really teh final straw. After all the hell that was raised by FOX over Terri Schivo, anything, and I mean anything the republican party cares to say after this point should be regarded as nonsense and lies until proven otherwise.

And for these people, more than one million dead Iraqis and almost 4000 dead American soldiers. Where is Jerry Falwell telling these hypocritical liars that they are sinning?

The fact that this White House chose to announce the birth of Vice
President Cheney's grandson -- Samuel David Cheney -- with a photo of
the baby without either one of his two mothers in sight should come as
no surprise. This administration continues to try to have its cake and
eat it too when it comes to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
(LGBT) Americans.

Think about it. Samuel is the Cheney's sixth
grandchild -- but can you recall seeing photos of any of the other
grandchildren? The only thing that makes Samuel's birth newsworthy at
all is that his birth mother, Mary Cheney, is both a lesbian and the
daughter of the man who is second in command of an administration that
has been more destructive to the lives of LGBT parents and their
families than any other group in American history.

By virtue of
Mary's status as the Vice President's daughter, she and her partner,
Heather Poe, continue to be arguably the most prominent Republican
lesbian couple in the country. Mary's pregnancy has been covered by the
media since it was first announced. The couple welcomed their first
child, Samuel, into the world earlier this week. And yet the mothers
are not included in the photo that was sent out to announce the birth
of their child.
