Chicago Fire Department's 12th Battalion Encounter Structure Fire

January 25, 2007 Illinois - Members of the Chicago Fire Department's 12th Battalion responded to a reported structure fire in a vacant residence located at 2826 West Wilcox. Engine Company 107 reported a two story ordinary, 25 x 50 residential structure with heavy fire on 1 and 2. An aggressive interior attack was successful and the fire was quickly brought under control with no reports of injury.
