Chicago Firefighters Battle Blaze In Factory

Illinois - The Chicago Fire Department battled a fire in a 1 and 2 story ordinary abandoned factory on Thursday, November 9, 2006. The fire escalated to a 2-11 alarm level before being brought under control with no reported injuries. Fire crews attacked the exterior of the brick building, which measured about 100 feet by 150 feet, in an attempt to keep the flames from spreading to a two-story building directly behind it.
