That's the word Saturday from church elders, following a prayer meeting and breakfast in the church hall across the street from the landmark sanctuary destroyed by a massive 4-11 alarm fire Friday.

WBBM Newsradio 780's Bob Roberts reports, Pilgrim's congregation had planned this gathering -- their annual New Year's breakfast. Instead, it gave Pilgrim's board chairman, Alfonso Carrington, a chance to say that a new Pilgrim will rise from its ashes, on the site of the landmark structure, designed by Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler, that was burned to its bare walls.
