CHILDREN OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM ***

We
can see, in Astrology, that children born in the same period (within
a decade), have some general characteristics which in later years,
will be shared, and will mark periods of historical changes, either
towards civilizations expansion or decline.

Sometimes
also “the uneventful-silent periods” in history, show a certain
generational characteristic.

This
is mostly due to the signs and aspects that the planets Neptune,
Pluto and Uranus occupy in the birth charts. These planets are so
slow in motion, that they are prominent in signing periods or cycles
which will affect the collective trends. The identity, of an entire
generation of youth,will be affected by particular credo, ideas,
ideals and beliefs.

For
instance if we take the generation of “baby-boomers”, those
people born immediately after the war from 1946 until 1956, we find a
generation with Uranus in late Gemini, Neptune in Libra and Pluto in
Leo, we have a generation who are keen in new ideas, who are
brilliant and intuitive,pioneering in science and literature, media,
communications,etc.

The
boomers sought, and continue to seek new ways to deal with the
family, breaking with old standards and finding excitement on a more
emotional level, very creative and, somehow, self-centered and
exhibitionist. The children who created the 60s!

The
children of today, for instance, those from 1996-2003, (with Uranus
in Aquarius, Neptune in late Capricorn and Aquarius, Pluto in
Sagittarius) will be very outgoing, exuberant, independent and always
questioning conventionality, and will be reformers in philosophy, and
able to break and broad old religions and dogmas.

From
2003 until 2010 this generation it is similar of the previous one,
but more poetic, more morbid, very brilliant, and very artistic!

Children
will be relate towards each others in a more compassionate way, and
will be aware of humanity in general. They will express the dream of
the present period: a new world where human rights are on the first
line, where the good of the one must be the good of the many!
