Celebrate the Year of the Dog with sound, color, and joy. The Garden’s plum blossom trees will be in full bloom signifying the return of spring. Chinatown and the Garden will be decorated for the biggest festival in the Chinese calendar. Activities include fortune telling, martial arts, calligraphy writing, storytelling, lucky red packets, and a special exhibition of traditional New Year arts by the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation. Watch for the big parade that winds through the streets of Chinatown around noon! Click here for a schedule of events (PDF).
