Click Fraud Case Settled

The $90 million offered by Google to refund customers who were defrauded by bogus clicks has been approved. A judge in Arkansas approved the settlement which is generous to Google.

While $90 million may seem like a substantial sum, it's likely a small fraction of the amount that Google makes per quarter in questionalable clicks.

I was recently told by someone who seemed to know a lot about clickfraud that google was blocking news of this case. ...so much for that theory.
