Is this a sign of global warming in Tring? I was surprised to see these daffodils in bloom as I drove past Tring Hill roundabout on the A41 (Multimap) today. Seeing these flowers here was especially surprising, as it is quite an exposed location in the Chiltern Hills, not at all sheltered. Although we have daffodils in our garden, none are yet in bloom.
Interestingly, I was just reading my mother's diary for 1971 and she recorded that she picked her first daffodils from her garden that year on February 27th. It will be interesting to record when our garden daffodils appear.

At NowPublic, this is high praise from NowPublic editors! Your story is now on the home page for awhile, and everywhere else the “good stuff” box shows up. Many thanks for your great work.

Hi, edwards, thank you for the comment on your footage. Great to read your contributions, I went and moderated the footage so that the right photograph was associated with the story. In the future if you go to the original story, at the top next to the tabs titled, view, and edit, there is a moderate footage tab as well, which allows you to pick the appropriate photo or video for your story or in the event that you add the wrong picture you can change it....
All the Best,
