I am 34 years old, born in Wisconsin, lived here all my life. I have always been interested in India, Pakistan, and Egypt ever since I was really little. I have many Indian and Pakistani friends, some I met here, and many I have met online. I met my husband online in an Indian chat room. I used to like trying to learn more Hindi by going there to chat with people on there in Hindi. I know a little Urdu, both because of my husband and also because of my boyfriend I had before I met my husband. My boyfriend was Indian, and was here in the US to go to college, and I also have many other Indian friends whom I've met because of him. I learned some Hindi and some Urdu from listening to them talk, and picking up on some words. My ex-boyfriend also taught me a little Hindi, but he didn't have much free time to teach me alot. I also am interested in learning Arabic, since I have a friend that owns an Egyptian Art Store nearby, and he considered my boys and I family to him ever since we first met. We spent alot of time in his store, just talking and catching up on what's been happening in our lives. My husband's family is Muslim, and although I was raised Christian, I never fit in with that way of life. My boys and I are now Muslim, like my husband and his family. I truly believe in peace, and do not like to hear of innocent people's injuries or deaths, especially in my husband's home country of Pakistan.
I am also very interested in animal rights, and I am on the ASPCA website alot. I also go on the care2 website, and sign many petitions for animal rights. My grandparents taught me love and respect for all animals from a very young age. I also try to help people in need.
