Mission Grounds Gourmet Coffee helped a local homeless shelter - the Jars of Clay with their back to school drive. They provided over 200 back packs filled with scool supplies; socks and underwear. Lunch was also provided. Mission Grounds also had many people donate used shoes and clothes that were also distributed to the community.

Mission Grounds Gourmet Coffee is a non profit organization, a 501 C Corporation, dedicated to helping children. Its main focus is to help orphans and children needing hope the most – children in third world companies and in inner city neighborhoods in the United States.Mission Grounds is currently helping children in China, Russia, Costa Rica, South Africa, Kenya and Venezuela. They provide the support in many ways – from food, shelter and clothing. In Africa, Russia and Costa Rica they only provide monthly support. Besides also providing monthly support, they are engaged in two large construction projects in China and Venezuela. In China they are building a school and in Venezuela they are building an orphanage. Both projects should be done by Spring 2008. Plans are under way to build another school in China and another orphanage in Venezuela. They are also looking at construction projects in Nigeria and in The Sudan.  In Atlanta Mission Grounds is working with a homeless shelter for children. They have helped provide new appliances for the kitchen; craft materials for after school fun; 150 book bags and school supplies.  They are helping provide food and school supplies on a monthly basis to the Jars of Clay Outreach on a monthly basis and through their newsletter have found 2 groups of adults who are now going down to the Jars of Clay on a monthly basis. They mainly read the children books and help them with homework – provide them the attention they need. They are also working with children’s groups in Buffalo and in New Orleans providing books; book bags and other school supplies. Mission Grounds receives its monies to operate from donations; from the sale of coffee, and from grants. They hope through raising more money to help children in other cities such as Pittsburgh and Charlotte.                                                               Mission Grounds Gourmet Coffee is the finest Tarrazu gourmet coffee coming out of Costa Rica. Tarrazu is considered the best Costa Rica coffee and comes in five grades of quality. The best grade of Coffee grows on the top of the mountain; at the slowest growth rate – ensuring a rich flavorful taste without any bitterness or aftertaste. We only sale this highest level of coffee; unfortunately there is not enough of it grown on the mountain peak to meet the needs of the large retail chains; who must buy the level 2 or level 3 coffees to get enough quantity. Order some coffee today at www.missiongrounds.com – a great coffee but an even better cause: helping children everywhere

Ah... coffee drinkers can use their powers for good! This is a really cool press release, but it should be categorized as such. Please let me know when you fix it and I shall remove the flag.
