Former Vice-President Al Gore's tour for his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" is taking him to the University of Miami's Convocation Center on Feb. 28. The same place where President George Bush and Senator John Kerry debated for the '04 presidential elections.

Tickets were available on four separate days for students only. Tickets sold out on the second day. The Convocation Center, also called the BankUnited Center, holds 7,000 permanent seats.

Before the lecture, a book-signing will be held for Gore. However, the book-signing is by invitation only. Invitations were given to students only including the Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper, The Miami Hurricane.  The newspaper also received two press photographer passes.

"The long-awaited tickets for students were handed out at a rate of 400 per hour by Ticketmaster officials on Monday." Go to story. "Take the Cannes Film Festival: Al Gore was mobbed. By French people. He
was a presenter at the Grammy Awards, alongside Queen Latifah, where he
got one of the biggest welcomes of the night. 'Wow. . . . I think they
love you, man. You hear that?' the current Queen asked the former veep.
Earlier this month, the ticket Web site at the University of Toronto
crashed when 23,000 people signed on in three minutes to get a seat to
hear Gore do his thing on the oceanic carbon cycle. At Boise State,
Gore and his slide show sold out 10,000 seats at the Taco Bell Arena,
reportedly 'faster than Elton John.'" Go to story.
