The DugOut picked the winners, it was by the wrong score but it still works!  The games were great this weekend, and while the outcomes were different, the endgame is just as big.  For the first time in history two African American coaches will be taking their teams to the SuperBowl.  And even though there are some really nasty posts from conservative bloggers out there, which is really incomprehensible, the reality is this is a great moment in sports history, and an important one for Americans to realize.

Plus, why play politics after such a great end of the season. Payton Manning brining his team back to beat the unbeatable Patriots.  The Bears rolling in the snow after playing a brilliant defensive game.  It was good football, and good fun...

This will be a great game in Miami, and a tough one to pick as the best defense will face the best offense.

Did you attend the NFC or AFC Championship?  Did you take any photographs from Sunday?

The last time the Bears were in the Super Bowl was 21 years ago in 1986. Ronald Reagan was President of the US, the Chernobyl nuclear plant was about to melt down and the space shuttle Challenger was about to blow up. “Iron Mike” Ditka was coaching the Bears and they won Super Bowl XX by a score of 46-10 over the New England Patriots. The Patriots would later come back to play in four Super Bowls, winning three of them. The Bears haven’t been back to the big dance since.

Manning led the Colts from 18 points down in the second quarter, and on a game-winning 80-yard drive late in the fourth, for a wildly entertaining 38-34 victory Sunday over the New England Patriots in the AFC title game.

He took Dungy along for the ride, helping his coach finally get to the big game and make some history along the way. In two weeks, Dungy will join Chicago's Lovie Smith in the Super Bowl, where together they will be the first black head coaches to meet in the NFL's biggest game.
