Fox News isn't Afraid of Dr. Paul. The real story is why are the democrats afraid of Fox News.
When a candidate drops below 5% in the polls he is usually excluded from future debates following the first caucus or primary. This has already occured in the democratic debates. Dr. Paul , in a recent LA Times /Bloomburg Poll ending Dec 26, 2007, has dropped to 4% in New Hampshire and in national polls he has dropped to 1%. Do you know how many Republicans are running for president? There are more then 20. Alan Keyes was allowed to debate in Iowa because he met the criteria of having an office and worker in Iowa.
I am not a fan of the process. I would like to hear from every candidate running. But how many questions could you get in 90 minutes with 20 candidates? Remember Sen Gravel was eliminated from the debate process already. My sources also report that the Fox Debate in South Carolina Dr. Paul is not the only one who will not be invited.
For the Record, I have interviewed Representative Paul 3 times during the debates and find him to be a very focused constitutionalist. I have a great deal of respect for Him. In short, Fox News is not afraid of Ron Paul.
