Letter Sent to Glen Beck’s Insider Desk:
I would say that it would be wise to vote for the "best" candidate. Never settle for second best again. There is no such thing, you're either a winner or a looser! Today, all Democrats and Republicans are "Groomed Candidates in a Can." They cut the lid off the can and look inside only seeing themselves.
Not matter what GlennBeck has to say about Ron Paul, as he "foolishly" beats him daily, he is the "best candidate" we have had over the last 20 years! Although I don't agree with everything (Libertarian) Ron Paul says, that doesn't mean that he is not the best candidate for protecting American rights, values, freedoms and happiness (from the infection of Despotism, i.e. bigger govt.).
If Ron Paul is not the best available candidate, then I'd like to ask Glenn who he thinks is "the standard?"
For some reason, Americans, Glenn included, are looking for some "ideal person", but daily fails to bring forward an example of the standard that we should be striving toward.
About Fred Thompson, the "candidate of pure hype?" He has not said much publicly at all and many are hanging solely on his potential. We fail to forget the simple fact that he is an actor! Remember, "like people, like king!" If we continue to "act" like we are voting, we will continue to get actors as our leaders. Pretty soon, the whole political realm will be a damned comic book full of "characters only", there won't be a statesman in the bunch (of which there are few anyway).
Ron Paul is a statesman. He is interested in the job. We need to elect statesmen like these at the expense of our "presumed ideals!" If nobody meets our expectations, then maybe its high time to reexamine our unrealistic expectations. Pretty simple conclusion huh?
My advice is we need to read our Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and our Bill of Rights, which sets forth the logical reasons and ways of doing things right. These American documents set forth the concept of "personal responsibility before political accountability!" They also clarified the important fact of “who is working for who?”
Our political system has become a Democratic and a Republican farce, a “welfare center for professional politicians" instead of representatives of the people . . . Well, let's think about that one for a second . . . maybe they really are representatives of the people! That should scare the living daylights out of all of us!
People of America, it is time for change, its time for logic and truth to prevail or we will be sunk by the Internationalists model government of Communism! Vote your conscious (if you have one), vote for the best candidate . . . vote for Ron Paul. Let’s not play the “two party politics” anymore . . . GAME OVER!
