"Connect_icut, Pellucid, and Oesa

Connect_icut is the solo computer project of Sam Macklin, an English ex-pat living in Vancouver, Canada. Sam is also a member of outsider pop group Interim Lovers, free-folk ensemble The Bastion Mews, retro-rock orchestra The Countless Jibes and improvising electronics duo North Shore Academy of Dance.

Vancouver-based (but soon moving to Seoul) Pellucid plays a fully improvised live show with homemade software and eats with his hands, as expected. Recently released a remix for old time music group Dyad for Copperspine Records. Just got married.

Inspired by the world's most beautiful spot for a bagged lunch, Lake Oesa, this is computer music that aims at a spontaneously natural sound. Texture and colour, song and sound, momentum and exploration.
