Why is Ezra Levant being used as a commentator on Alberta politics on Don Newmans Politics show on CBC Newsworld. The man is an idiot and does not have the inside dope on the Ralph regime. Why not use the Edmonton Journals Legislative reporter Graham Thompson

Ezra Levant is the publisher of the Western Standard,
a fortnightly news and opinion magazine founded in March, 2004 and
headquartered in Calgary. He also writes a weekly column for the Calgary Sun and Winnipeg Sun newspapers, and writes occasional columns for other newspapers, including the National Post, on whose editorial board he sat from 1999 til 2001. Ezra also appears on a weekly panel on TV's Global National.
A lawyer by profession, he has also worked in politics on the
conservative side of the spectrum, including serving as a parliamentary
aide to both Preston Manning and Stockwell Day. Ezra has published
three books, including Fight Kyoto and The War on Fun.
The Western Standard has made news itself in recent months, by
leaking the Liberal Party's Red Book during the 2006 election, by
lampooning the Adscam affair with a "Libranos" satire, and, most
recently, by publishing several of the controversial Danish cartoons in
February.”
