Even with all the fires that seem to be breaking out lately, I was surprised to find this article-- NHS is where I went to high school. Arson is suspected. We joked about this sort of thing when I was a lad, but obviously never acted upon it. I hope the miscreants didn't damage my old English classroom.

Arson investigators are at a North Bay high school this morning after an early morning fire. Flames broke out at Novato High School on Arthur Street. A custodian discovered the blaze shortly after 6 am. At least ten classrooms were burned. Authorities say somebody used an accelerant on the outside of the classrooms and set them on fire.

But investigators tell us the damage could've been much worse because the accelerant used did not fully ignite. This morning, parts of Novato High School are closed to students, but classes are still being held.
