Raw Story explores the fundraising tactics of Gary Jarmin. Previously covered here, he not only invited senators to the March 23, 2004 coronation of Reverend Moon but played a prominent part in a Washington City Paper story with a wonderful title:

How the Unification Church Convinced the U.S. Government to Endorse its Holiday Honoring the Rev. and Mrs. Moon as the True Parents of Mankind -- and Along the Way, Garnered Support from Hallmark Cards, Florence Henderson, Marion Barry, Bill Clinton, and Miss Illnois

Which may explain why readers of Larisa's piece at Raw Story noticed a match between Jarmin's money dead drop site and the following:

National Parents’ Day Council

208 North Patrick Street

Alexandria, VA 22314

Phone: (703) 548-4904

But to his credit, Jarmin only told seniors they were going to lose their trust funds unless they gave him money, not that their ancestors would burn in hell.
