Asian promoters threaten to sue Copperfield for cancellation

Malaysian promoter Arianna Teoh said she was ready to take legal action

over the axing of shows scheduled for October 30 and 31 and demanded that

Copperfield provide an explanation.

"We are definitely going to seek legal counsel and find out the reasons

behind the cancellations and examine the situation carefully," she told AFP.

"We do hope that he will be responsible and will pay back the money we have

given him. I think he is a honourable man," she added.

"I understand that he is going through a very tough and emotional time

right now, but this is business."
