FOUR asylum seekers sneaked into Britain yesterday — on the back of a lorry carrying Tony Blair’s new official car.

Police found the men hiding in the vehicle’s container after it was delivered to a cop garage in South London.

When the sealed doors were opened, the four jumped into the officers’ arms.

A source said: “They had a nasty surprise when they realised they were in a police yard. We had a worse surprise when we saw how they had arrived.”

The modified £100,000 dark-grey BMW 7 Series — with bulletproof glass and reinforced doors had been ordered from the German car giant’s HQ in Munich by the Met Police’s Counter-Terrorism Command to provide protection for former PM Mr Blair, who has a 24-hour guard.

The lorry and its container should have been impregnable. But the asylum seekers — believed to be from the Indian sub-continent — are believed to have got inside in northern France.

They were found in Vauxhall yesterday morning and arrested.
