Certainly a step in the right direction for Britain's growing crime problem and a pain in the butt to the receiving countries who now have to deal with the influx of the worst of the worst.

LONDON -- More than 4,000 foreign prisoners were deported from Britain during the past year, including killers and sex offenders, the Home Office said on Wednesday. The number is in line with government targets, but the Conservative party said it "should not crow about its lamentable record." More than 20 killers, 200 sex offenders and 1,100 drug offenders were deported.

Barry Artiste, you've convinced me you've done the work - it's authentic. I also think that you've been fair and thorough. I didn't get the sense that you were hiding your biases, or passing off other's work as your own. Or worse -- getting paid by those you cover -- so it's transparent and independent. I also think you deserve praise for being an eyewitness, and for your investigative efforts. Good stuff.

Thanks Rob, will Canada ever do the same? Perhaps we shouldn't hold our breath.

If you invite a guest into your home and they don't follow your rules, you do have every right to deport them. Some people think they can ignore the rules. They tend to forget, they are no longer in their own homes and they need a good smack on the backside when they do forget.

Deportation?

ABSOLUTELY!!
