The level of hypocrisy here is  staggering even by political standards:

WASHINGTON - The Justice Department under Alberto Gonzales's leadership issued a secret opinion in 2005 authorizing use of painful physical and psychological tactics against terror suspects, including simulated drownings and freezing temperatures, it was reported.

The secret opinion, which explicitly allowed using the painful methods in combination with each other, came a year after an opinion in which Justice publicly declared torture "abhorrent" and the Bush administration seemed to back away from claiming authority for such practices.

Please add a warning to your pictures.  I find them graphic, disturbing, obscene and inappropriate.

for the NowPublic support of crowd sourced news.   The level of hypocrisy on nowpublic is
is amazing. Nowpublic former member gmony714 remember him? was banned from now public for "inflaming views" I guess it depennds who's doing the inflaming. Were was your respect for his views. The editors at nowpublic speak of free speech but have no idea what it is. Gryphon is a victim of how nowpublic treats free speech when his wrangler status was taken away because of his conservative views. Gryphon is on the editors hit list I'm sure. He will not be here long, but those on the left get praise. So when you talk about hypocrisy look at yourselves. And I don't care if kaitlin puts me on her hit list either.

The reassuring thing about this charge is that we get it from the left all the time too.   The issue is not where you are coming from but whether you are being civil.
