Through exhaustive research, I have found the submarine order form from the Columbia Drug Cartel and have attached it for Now Public Reader scrutiny.

Cocaine-laden submarine sinks off Colombian coast

BOGOTA - Colombian drug smugglers sank a submarine off the country's Pacific coast this week that had been filled with tonnes of cocaine destined for the United States, the country's navy said yesterday.

The homemade submarine was spotted by a Colombian air force plane and pursued by Colombian navy and U.S. Coast Guard boats. The submarine's four crew members opened the hatches and allowed water to enter before surrendering.

When I pay six bucks ninety-eight for a submersible, I expect better stealth capability. Das Toot sank in 3000 meters (9000 feet) of water, so there may be some moray eels with short attention spans in the near future. The image you added raises an interesting question, though: did they purchase the sub, or make it themselves? There's no detail that I can find online about the sub itself, but I guess the authorities didn't get too close a look at it. There's a rich tradition of homebrew submarines; recently those guys from Brooklyn got arrested for testing theirs in the East River. (Footage attached via Youtube)
