This is some serious Gattaca action: a doctor replaced the skin from a drug courier's fingertips with skin from the patient's feet, in order to confuse fingerprint-based investigations.

A plastic surgeon who replaced the fingerprints of an alleged drug dealer with skin from the bottom of his feet pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal charge of harboring and concealing a fugitive.
