"We will investigate the cause of her death," Tatang B Razak, Chairman of the embassy`s Service and Protection Task Force Unit, here on Sunday.

Malaysian daily The Star reported on Sunday that an Indonesian woman, believed to be an illegal maid, fell to her death while trying to evade religious authorities at an apartment block in Taman Siantan, Tengkera.

The woman, identified only as Sukasih, 31, tried to escape by climbing over the railing of the balcony of a fourth-floor unit to get to a lower unit when she slipped and fell.
