When and when not to urinate on strangers:

  • Hot: consensual adults rockin' their socks (golden shower anyone?)
  • Not: urinating on minors (tsk tsk Mr. Kelly....)
  • Hot: You and your drunk friends reminisce of lost youth, and play "Luke and Darth" with your warm urine streams.
  • Not: Urinating on a dying and disabled woman, fallen in the street, yelling, "This is youtube material!".  Then she dies.  Then you go to jail. (Great job Anthony Anderson

Ah, Youtube.  Gone are the days of faking a groin injury, making funny upside down faces with your chin, stupid pet tricks, and 'defying' gravity with a slick turn of your camera to get on television (I dreamed of getting on America's Funniest Videos...).  Our society has become increasingly voyeuristic, especially when awarded for our misdoings.  Youtube is no exception, and is perpetuating our need for our 15 minutes in a negative way.

Why?  Well, what are the most popular videos on youtube, besides the "AFV"-esque stupid human tricks and bizarre Japanese game shows? One of two things: your average joe getting hurt/embarassed/socially excommunicated, or celebrities doing the same thing (without the excommunication, of course).

And Anthony Anderson of Raby Road is no different.  He wants his 15 minutes.  He wants them bad.  S0 bad he's willing to piss on some poor lady, soaked in water, and then proceed cover her in shaving cream.

According to the BBC, the entire event was captured on a mobile phone.

Lynne Dalton, prosecuting, said: "Although his actions did not contribute to her death it was appalling behaviour that robbed her of any dignity in the last hours of her life."

She urged magistrates to transfer the case to crown court for sentencing, claiming their maximum powers were insufficient.

My final thoughts:  Who carries around a bucket of water and shaving cream?  And, what sick bastard stood there (likely, overtaken by laughter) and recorded it?

That's so awful. It's like some sort of lower-level happy-slapping.

Really, yes. I was pleased to read that this went to crown court.

(Good stuff)
