Ex-minister Laksamana Sukardi summoned by ago as suspect

"We have summoned him as a suspect as we have found clues of his involvement in corruption," Supandji said without indicating when Laksamana had been asked to come the AGO.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an international anti-corruption seminar and conference, Supandji said AGO investigators had found strong indications of corruption in the sale of the VLCCs.

Laksamana Sukardi was one of three people suspected to have been involved in the case, he said.

Supandji admitted that on the envelope containing the summons, Laksama had been addressed as a witness but added this had been a typing error. In the summons proper Laksmana was clearly referred to as a suspect.
