"IS THERE ANYWAY TO WARN, CAUTION OR MONITOR THESE KIND OF PHOTOS"

I do know if not here, it could be found else where on the web - is this tasteful, respectful or decent - NO

Personally not cool,

kaitlin - Thank you so very much! Taste and decency prevail.

Kaitlin,
Ryan gave me a hat to wear awhile ago - where is the store at, so I can pick it up & put it on?

Thanks again, Everchanging

The truth and reality is deemed offensive or obscene, I guess.  Just like pictures of the twin towers burning.  People dont want to see bad things, so they hide behind a veil of cowardly semantics and convenient rules.

No - I do not believe it is like this at all. this where photos of a deceased persons body - even though a fame person via the general media. "I" (ME) do not believe someone show the photos of one of your loved one on the internet would make you feel good when you saw them for yourself. (no relation of kin!)

You could have put a warning with a link for anyone to go to - "if they choose to see them" then they could on their own....

Regard the twin tower - This was different (in my eyes) and was very distasteful ! (do you mean the bodies falling)
What happened on 9/11/2001 should have not been censored at all by the media....
I had to go to outside countries news media to see them (the bodies) falling to the ground,
I am sad our media felt we could not handle the truth of the events on that messed up day
in our history that still is being censored by are own government :-(

If people do not see them here they will go to a place that has the courage to show them.  Just like you did with the 9/11 example.

Here is the link for the less sensitive:  http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/2007/10/anna-nicole-smiths-death-photo-stirs-the-pot.html

When these pics are shown on TV tomorrow and in the newspapers, we can continue this conversation.

gryphon, please add a note that the pictures you are linking to are graphic in nature.

The similarity ends at "graphic in nature" between 11th Sept photos and images of a dead celebrity. Whilst the overall conversation above is important, it's worth pointing out that Ms. Smith died a while ago, and images of her body add nothing, really, to the story. Yes, they'll be heavily searched, but are not informative in the same sense as two collapsing towers.

I understand why gryphon posted this. The photos will attract an audience, which is one version of "newsworthy": Fox built an empire on that. The other version of "newsworthy" is in genuinely new/informative material, and the line between the two is not always quite clear.
