A HUBBY was jailed for breaking a court order not to contact his estranged wife after website Facebook sent her an automatic email.

Engineer Dylan Osborn, 37, only joined the social-networking site to look at a pal’s wedding photos.

It then sent an invite to be a “friend” to everyone on his email list — including wife Claire Tarbox, 34, who had taken out a court injunction to stop Dylan pestering her.

Despite Dylan’s pleas that the invitation was sent without his knowledge, he was locked up for six days before his solicitor managed to persuade a judge to free him.

Dylan, of Newport Pagnell, Bucks, said: “I had made phone calls to Claire and sent texts which I regret. She thought I was harassing her and got an injunction.

“When the invite arrived she could have hit the No button. But she called police.”
