KPK secures Rp159 billion in state money

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) succeeded in securing around Rp159 billion in state money from various corruption cases the agency had handled.

KPK Deputy Chairman Tumpak H Panggabean, said here on Monday that Rp60 billion of the total amount had already been transferred to the state, while the rest was still being processed.

In the meantime, the fund already spent on the handling of the cases had yet to reach Rp10 billion. Since the establishment of the KPK, number of reports sent to this agency reached more than 10,000. But not all of the reports were valid.
